Product Overview

The 18-Inch Lightning Arrester Rod is designed as part of a lightning protection system to provide a preferred discharge path for lightning current when correctly installed and bonded to a suitable earthing system. It is suitable for solar power systems, residential buildings, commercial installations, industrial facilities, communication equipment and other electrical infrastructure where lightning protection is required. For reliable protection, the arrester rod should be installed as part of a complete system including suitable earthing electrodes, conductors, bonding and surge protection devices (SPDs). A lightning rod by itself does not guarantee protection from lightning.
